Alright, this took me a while to do! This game is one of my favourite games of all time. Not only does it play extremely smooth, it’s aesthetically pleasing. As long as this tutorial is, the game itself is not terribly hard or complex.
Playtime: 60-90 mins
Type of Game: Board/Card Game (set collecting)
Player Count: 1-4
Complexity*: Medium
*The complexity scale goes as follows: Light, Medium-Light, Medium, Medium-Heavy, and Heavy. The scale is quite arbitrary, however, the way i think of it is: the thicker the rulebook, and more time consuming games will lean on the heavier side.
Objective: It’s basically a set collecting game where you collect cards from a main board and build a tableau (your meadow) and collect points based on the cards you play. The person with the most points win.
I created multiple screencastify videos as it is a little more complicated than the other games I’ve shown:
Reflection on Progress
I must say this was a little overkill. Next time I will choose a game that is a little more digestible in terms of teaching. However, I did enjoy the process, since this is my favourite game (as of now). I did try and amalgamate the videos into one big tutorial video, however, there were some technical difficulties with iMovie.

Ohhhhh my goodness what a gorgeous game!
This seems like one of those board games where I’d probably take everything out of the box, see all the different elements, get too overwhelmed and decide to just play solitaire; this likelyhood, however, would be significantly lessened given the wonderful tutorial videos you’ve done here! They give a really comprehensive, in-depth look at both setup and gameplay, which is much easier than arguing over the rules with my friends. I can tell this game has a special place in your heart too, from the effort you’ve put into this, so thanks so much for sharing it with us!
Just based on the art style, this game really reminded me of Shelter; an online simulator game that has you play as a badger surviving with her badger children in a meadow. This is very loosely related, but both have meadows, so my Core Competency regarding comparisons of different content has been met 😛 Check it out if you’re interested, and nicely done again on this game!
