H5P useful?

Unfortunately, I did not get H5P to work, however, after doing some research on the software, I believe that it can be a very useful tool for high school students. It can engage students with interactive content such as quizzes, simulations, and interactive videos. You can make personalized lessons and projects for those who learn differently from others. H5P can also be a great tool for introverted and shy learners to participate actively in class discussions and activities in a less intimidating way, as they can engage with content at their own pace. H5P can also be inclusive, as you can use various designs to help those with cognitive disabilities understand subject matters by using visual queues rather than text. You can also gamify your lessons and projects, motivating students in an already technological world. In all there are many useful tools in H5P that can make lesson plans interactive and engaging for students with various learning abilities.
Multi-media Learning Theory aiding with instructional videos and Tutorials

Multimedia theory, which was developed by Richard E. Mayer, is a cognitive theory that focuses on how people learn from multimedia presentations. There are a number of ways that it can aid in instructional videos and tutorials, one of which being Dual Coding. This theory suggests that learners have two separate channels of processing information: One is verbal (text or narration) and the other is visual (images and animations). In order to create a more effective instructional video, you can use a combination of visuals (diagrams, charts, images) and spoken or written explanations to present information. However, you have to be careful to not overload your audience with too much information or visuals, as it can cause information overload. You should try and align the visuals and narration so that they complement each other and reinforce key concepts. One way to keep track of this is to take notice of how much “white space” you have in your presentation. White space meaning having enough empty space so that what your are presenting is not bloated with information or pictures so as to overwhelm your audience.
